Chevening Scholars from Madagascar

​The Chevening Scholarship has been funding high-calibre foreign graduates with leadership qualities to study at universities in the United Kingdom since 1983. It is funded by the British government (via the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) and partner organisations with the aim of building a global network of future leaders. Around a hundred students from Madagascar have benefitted from this scheme to date. These Malagasy Chevening Alumni are listed on the page linked below, many of whom continue to maintain active relations with the United Kingdom and with the Anglo-Malagasy Society.
