Gardens of Light
This new organisation, set up in 2011, helps villages in Madagascar by providing solar lamps and setting up market gardens. Its first project was in Ranohira and it is raising funds for its next scheme in Ampefy, details of which are here.

The Kitchen Table Charities Trust

'The charity established by John Humphrys has raised money for a number of projects of small charities in Madagascar, most recently through an auction by JLA that funded a healthcare facility for the commune of Talatavolonondry.

Mangarivotra.org
Mangarivotra.org supports the Mangarivotra primary and Vohimarina Laminosa secondary schools near the rural town of Mahasoabe, 30km from Fianarantsoa. The site documents the history of the schools and the development activities that provide much-needed facilities to enable a sustainable education.

MOSS
MOSS works to prevent and relieve blindness in Madagascar. It has in particular a link with Leeds University Hospital to improve the training of ophthalmologists, cataract surgeons and eye nurses.

Tossing A Starfish
Tossing A Starfish Charity (TASC Madagascar) was set up in 2009 to provide housing, sanitation and education to help some of the poorest people in the Vohipeno region. It arranges an annual sponsored bike ride.
